Images of an alleged upcoming Huawei smartphone have appeared recently appeared on Weibo. It showed that the device has an bezel-less design with no pop-up cam, punch-hole, or notch.

The all-screen Huawei phone?

Bye pop-up cam, notch, and punch-hole?

The handset has a familiar Huawei Mate-like boxy look with waterfall-looking curves and super slim top, bottom, and side bezels. This suggests that Huawei might implement the Under Screen Camera solution since it doesn't have a no pop-up cam, punch-hole, or notch to house the selfie camera.

Another possibility is it won't have a selfie camera at all. But, I highly doubt it. Back in July, Huawei filed a patent in Germany showing a device with an under-display camera.

This implementation could be similar to what OPPO demonstrated back in December 2019.

It has a selfie camera sensor hidden under the display of the handset. It is neatly hidden under the display and it'll only appear when needed. You will only see the camera on certain angles or if you will you a bright wallpaper.

This is the possible future smartphone design trend that will make the true all-screen design possible without moving parts like the pop-up cam.

Huawei Central suggests that this handset might be the 2020 version of the Mate S flagship.
