OPPO is working on a 40W AirVOOC wireless charger

On April 13, OPPO will launch the Reno Ace 2, a flagship device that is expected to feature a whopping 40W wireless charging capabilities.

OPPO's 40W wireless charger is coming

Recently, a new listing found on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) confirmed that OPPO is working on a 40W AirVOOC wireless charger.

Based on the listing, the 40W AirVOOC wireless charger with a model number of OAWV01 will come in an oval-shaped design in White and Grey colors. It has a circular button at the left and a charging tray on the right.

Underneath, the device showed that it has plenty of air vents designed to dissipate the heat. It also confirmed that the device has a maximum 65W wired charging and a wireless charging output of 40W.

This charger is also expected to feature a lot of safe charging protocols.

Other than that, the rest of the missing information including the pricing and availability are still unknown for now.

Could this be OPPO's answer to Huawei's 40W Wireless SuperCharge tech?
