Vivo announced an upgraded Z5x with Snapdragon 712 SoC, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 5,000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging in China.

Vivo announced the original Z5x smartphone around May 2019. The original came with a Snapdragon 710 SoC. Recently, Vivo upgrades the Z5x with the 2.3GHz Snapdragon 712 SoC, 6.53-inch IPS FHD+ display with a punch-hole, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, microSD expansion slot, and 5,000mAh battery with up 18W fast charging via micro USB.
At the back is a triple rear camera made up of a 16MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP depth sensor. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
Running the show is Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 UI and all of it fits in 162.39 x 77.33 x 8.85 mm chassis that weighs only 204.1 grams.

The upgrade Z5x is now available for purchase in China.
There is no word on Philippine pricing and availability.
