Weathering with You is coming to Netflix!

On Facebook, the streaming service giant confirmed that the anime is set to premiere on its platform on July 31.

Weathering with You is a Japanese animated romance and fantasy film which tells the story of a high school boy who runs away from his rural home to Tokyo, Japan and befriends an orphan girl who has the ability to manipulate the weather.

The anime is written and directed by Makoto Shinkai, produced by Genki Kawamura, and the music was composed by Radwimps.

The film has a 91 percent rating at Rotten Tomatoes saying that it is beautifully animated and narratively engaged. Other reviews also praised the film for its animation, plot, music, visuals, and use of weather to convey the story's metaphor.
