Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition with 120Hz display now official!

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S20 FE. It features a 120Hz display with either an Exynos or Snapdragon SoC and 5G connectivity.

At the Unpacked event for Every Fan event, Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. The new smartphone will come in either 4G or 5G models depending on the region. At the core of the phone are the Exynos 990 for 4G models and a Snapdragon 865 for 5G models.

In front of the device is a flat 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with 2400 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and with noticeable side and chin bezels.

The matte-like plastic back panel (instead of glass) comes with the haze finish that first arrived in the S20 BTS edition and the Galaxy Note20 series. It is available in Cloud White, Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, and Cloud Mint colorways.

Inside is either an Exynos 990 or a Snapdragon 865 7nm, octa-core processor, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of storage, and 4,500mAh battery with 25W Adaptive Fast wired/wireless charging and Wireless Power Share.

The hybrid SIM tray can hold up to two Nano SIMs or one nano-SIM and one microSD card (up to 1TB).

At the back is a triple camera set-up made up of a 12MP f/1.8 main camera, 12MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide camera, 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with OIS, 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom and LED flash. While in front is a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

It connects via WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and via a USB Type-C. The device weighs 190 grams and measures only 159.8 x 74.5 x 8.4 mm and the body is IP68 rated.

Running the show is Android 10-based OS with One UI 2.5 skin.
