Acer announces 5 new Predator and Nitro high refresh rate monitors including a curved IPS model!

Acer announced 6 new gaming monitors under the Predator and Nitro lineups. It includes a 34-inch curved model and monitors with TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe.

Acer Predator X34 GS

The Predator X34 GS is a 34-inch curved UltraWide QHD 3440x1440 Agile-Splendor IPS panel that delivers clear images even at wide viewing angles. It is NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible so it can render smooth action with up to an overclockable 180 Hz refresh rate and an ultra-fast 0.5ms response time. VESA DisplayHDR 400 illuminates the finer details to create sharper images while the 98 percent DCI-P3 spectrum coverage provides vivid, colorful images. It also has two integrated 7-watt speakers as well.

Acer Predator XB3 series monitor

The new Predator XB3 series monitors are gaming panels with FHD and QHD variants. It will feature high refresh rates and support for VESA DisplayHDR. The three models in the series feature their own specialties with the XB273U NV being TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certified, the XB253Q GW boasting an overclockable 280Hz refresh rate, and the XB323U GX with its 99 percent Adobe RGB coverage.

Acer Predator XB273U NV gaming monitor

The Predator XB273U NV is designed to give players as comfortable a gaming experience as possible. One of the first gaming monitors to be certified by TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe, it utilizes high-energy wavelengths in order to filter out the blue light without comprising color quality. Additionally, Acer VisionCare 4.0 incorporates a range of technologies such as LightSense, AdaptiveLight, ColorSense, and ProxiSense. These features measure environmental and ambient light to automatically adjust the monitor’s brightness and color temperature to match it, helping reduce eye strain.

It is a 27-inch QHD (2560x1440) Agile-Splendor IPS display features wide viewing angles, a fast 1ms response time, and up to an overclocked 170 Hz refresh rate. It has a 95 percent DCI-P3 color spectrum coverage and a Delta E<1 rating allows for realistic images. It is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified meaning it has the 8-bit image quality and dynamically adjusts screen brightness to suit the displayed scene, allowing for noticeably darker darks.

It also features the RGB LightSense that synchronizes the screen’s colors to music, media, and eSports tournaments. It has a built-in TX transmitter that can wirelessly sync lighting colors and rhythm to additional networked monitors for an even more dramatic effect. The ergonomic stand helps users find just the right angle by letting them adjust the monitor’s tilt, swivel, height, and pivot.

Acer Predator XB253Q GW

The Predator XB253Q GW is the high refresh rate model. It is an NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible FHD 1920x1080 IPS panel that can be overclocked to a 280 Hz refresh rate with up to a 0.5ms response time provides a smooth experience and a competitive edge.

Acer Predator XB3238 GX

The Predator XB3238 GX is the do all, be all of the three. It is an NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible 32-inch QHD 2560x1440 panel with an overclockable 270 Hz refresh rate and up to a 0.5ms response time. It features fluidity and low latency that reduces motion blur during fast-paced gameplay. It has 99 percent AdobeRGB coverage makes this an excellent choice for players who also create their own content. The VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification indicates that the XB323U GX features 8-bit image processing and local-dimming, enabling the screen to adjust dynamically to what’s happening on the scene for deep blacks and impressive highlights.

Acer Nitro XV272U KV

Acer Nitro XV272U LV and XV272U KV gaming monitors

The Acer Nitro XV272U KV is a 27-inch QHD 2560x1440 gaming monitor. It features a Delta <1 rating and 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. It has an overclocked 170 Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. It is an Agile-Splendor IPS panel that provides wide viewing angles. It also has LightSense, ColorSense, and ProxiSense technologies.

Acer Nitro XV272 LV 

The Acer Nitro XV272 LV is a 27-inch FHD 1920x1080 Agile-Splendor IPS panel and offers up to 165Hz refresh rate. It also has the same features as the XV272U KV but it's a 1080p variant.
