AnTuTu: Huawei Mate 40 Pro is the top-scoring flagship phone, HONOR 30 takes the mid-range crown

Smartphone benchmark authority AnTuTu just shared the highest smartphone average scores recorded on version 8 of its app for the whole month of November. Two Huawei Kirin powered-devices made it on top.

Top-scoring flagship phones

For flagship phones, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro powered by the new 5nm 3.13GHz 5nm+ EUV Kirin 9000 5G octa-core processor, Triple NPU (Dual BigCore + Tiny Core), and Mali-G78 MP24 GPU made it on top.

Mate 40 Pro scored a whopping 661,059 average score to defeat the long-reigning ROG Phone 3 with 632,274. This shows that the speed of Kirin 9000 5G is superior in speed even against the Snapdragon 865 Plus on a heavily modified ROG Phone 3 gaming phone.

AnTuTu previously noted that we should not compare Android scores with iOS devices as they are tested differently, but in case you are wondering, the Mate 40 Pro has a higher score than the iPhone 12 Pro Max with an average score of 638,841.

Impressively, the OPPO Find X2 Pro is still on the top 3 with a score of 615,410. It is followed by the iQOO Neo 3, Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G with Snapdragon 865 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, OnePlus 8 Pro, Mi 10T Pro 5G, OnePlus 8T, and Black Shark 3.

Except for the Mate 40 Pro, all of the phones in the top 10 are powered by either SD865 or SD865+.

Top-scoring mid-range phones

For mid-range phones, another device related to Huawei made it on top—the HONOR 30. HONOR 30 is powered by the 7nm Huawei HiSilicon Kirin Kirin 985 processor. It recorded not an average score of 405,289 followed by the Huawei nova 7 5G with the same chip at 400,491. Xiaomi's Redmi K30 5G with SD765G is at number 3 with 326,679.

At number 4, you'll see the Mi 10 Lite 5G followed by the nova 7i at number 5. The rest of the top 10 includes the realme 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro, realme 6, realme 7 Pro, and POCO X3 NFC.
