Samsung Galaxy M62 gets FCC certification

The Samsung Galaxy M62 or SM-M62F/DS as listed in FCC could be a new and improved version of the Galaxy M51.

As a recap, the Samsung Galaxy M51 has a 6.7-inch 2.5D Super AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution at 393 ppi. Inside, it has a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor, Adreno 618 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and an expandable 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It also has the same battery size and fast charging capacity.

For cameras, the Galaxy M51 sports a quad-camera setup with 64MP f/1.8 + 12MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle + 5MP f/2.2 macro + 5MP f/2.2 depth + LED flash. It also has a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

In addition to the Galaxy M62, another device with the model SM-E625F/DS is rumored to be the same device but with a different model name for a different region.

Details are still scarce but a Geekbench listing reveals that it could have an Exynos 9825 SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android 11 out of the box.

More details are expected in the coming days, so stay tuned for any updates!
