On Facebook, Cherry Mobile today announced that it has improved its after-sales service. It now has a better warranty for its products.

In particular, the leading local phone maker shared that all its devices will now enjoy a 128 days replacement and 18 months of warranty.
The 128 days replacement is probably a first in the industry. Most only have 7 days of replacement after purchase. This means that Cherry will replace your product with a new one if there is a defect within 128 days.
For the overall warranty, the industry standard is 12 months. So, Cherry Mobile added 6 more months. Now, the company is one of the very few brands with 18 months of total warranty for mobile devices.
This new service applies to all its smartphones, basic phones, and even Flare fitness watches purchased starting February 15, 2021, onwards on the company's many service centers (25 in total) nationwide. The Cherry Ion wearable is not included though.
Still, this new move suggests that the local brand is confident with the quality of their products and they can give a better after-sales service than competitors.
