DxOMark: Xiaomi Mi 10S is number 1 in Audio, confirms SD870 5G and Harman Kardon speakers!

DxOMark recently released the audio test results of the unannounced Xiaomi Mi 10S and has managed to top the list.

Playful Droid recently reported that the Xiaomi Mi 10S will be announced in China this March 10, 2021. In the same report, the unannounced phone was teased to have Harman Kardon speakers.

Back in late February, DxOMark crowned the unannounced ROG Phone 5 as the king of Audio with a score of 79 and bested the former top 1 spot holder, the Mi 10 Pro.

Now on March 8, 2021, DxOMark releases the result of the Mi 10S in its audio tests and was able to topple the ROG Phone 5 and make Xiaomi retake the top spot in DxOMark's audio rankings.

The Xiaomi Mi 10S scored 80 in both playback and recording which resulted in an average score of 80.

DxOMark also confirms that the new device comes with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G and dual symmetrical speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. For now, the Mi 10S will only be sold in China.

The audio review page has yet to elaborate on the results of the audio tests but did share the score breakdown. From the breakdown, we can surmise that the Mi 10S performs amazingly in reducing artifacts during playback and recording. It also has high scores in volume and in timbre in the recording.

We will have to wait until the DxOmark releases its full review in audio.

Leaks claim that the Mi 10S is expected to also come with a large 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, an AMOLED panel, and a 108MP quad-rear camera.
