According to reports from China, Xiaomi is working on a new Redmi-branded smartphone for gaming.
The gaming phone will be powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip featuring 1x Cortex-A78 Ultra Core clocked at 3GHz, 3x 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 Super Cores, 4x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 Efficiency Cores, Mali-G77 MC9, six-core MediaTek APU 3.0, and built-in 5G modem, among others.
According to online news outlet MyDrivers, a Chinese blogger also claimed that the handset will come with a speedy 65W fast charger for its 5,000mAh battery capacity.
Similar to the Black Shark phones, the device is expected to feature air triggers for gamers as well.
Since this is a Redmi-powered device, it should be more affordable than the competition for the specs.
Let's wait and see.
