Globe and TM customers can now apply for number portability

Starting April 21, Globe and TM subscribers can now move from prepaid to postpaid, or vice versa, or switch to another brand within the group while keeping their original number.

Enabling our customers with the freedom to move across subscription types while allowing them to retain their original mobile number creates a new level of experience, said Issa Guevarra-Cabreira, Globe Chief Commercial Officer.

Globe, in a statement, noted that postpaid users who wish to avail of the service must have no financial obligations or overdue balances, and are not under a subscription lock-in period.

If you want to apply for porting, you may visit the nearest Globe store or log in to your GlobeOne account.

Globe myBusiness customers, meanwhile, may check if their number is eligible for MNP via the GlobeOne app. If eligible, they can reach out to their respective account manager or myBusiness chat support.

The Mobile Number Portability Act will be up for full implementation by end September, allowing mobile customers to change service providers while keeping their original numbers.
