Kingston Technology announced a new overclocking world record for the fastest DDR4 memory frequency at 7,156MHz using the HyperX Predator DDR4 memory.

The record was set by the MSI OC Team in Taiwan using a HyperX 4,600MHz Predator 8GB module. It was installed on an MSI MEG Z590I Unify motherboard and paired with an 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900KF processor clocked at 3.5GHz. The record was posted on HWBOT, a site for PC enthusiasts. It was also captured in a CPU-Z screenshot as well.

Kingston said in a statement that the company was thrilled and humbled to be part of this DDR4 overclocking world record. It emphasizes the company's efforts to improve higher-speed memory modules to bring faster performance, especially for gaming.

HyperX Predator DDR4 RAM are high-performance memory pairs bold, aggressive style with beastly performance. It features frequencies up to 4,800MHz with latencies from CL12 to CL19. It is available in 8GB to 32GB single modules and kits of 2,4, or 8 with capacities of 16GB to 256GB. All HyperX memory modules are Intel XMP-ready.
