To recap, TÜV Rheinland Smartphone High Reliability Certification means that the three-year life cycle of this smartphone has been tested.

The company boasts that this handset is the first to pass TÜV Rheinland's rigorous 10 Daily Use Test Scenarios, 6 Components Reliability Test Scenarios, and 7 Extreme Environment Test Scenarios to ensure its durability and overall reliability.

Based on the company's recent marketing materials, this handset is designed to even survive a few drops.

And aside from said certification, it has reasonably attractive specs for its low asking price.

We have the said device today so let's unbox it.

As of the moment

Basically, this device is like the upgraded realme C3 from 2020.
The camera UI of C25
The camera UI of C25

It may have the same display and chipset, but it has TÜV Rheinland Smartphone High Reliability certification, more RAM, larger storage, bigger battery capacity, faster charging speed, and a higher-resolution camera.
It has a decent display as well
It has a decent display as well

The device is quite fast, battery life is looking impressive, cameras are capable, and the new realme UI 2.0 skin based on Android 11 feels refined despite having a few bloats.

Of course, we also like the build of this device. As mentioned earlier, it feels durable.

But, we will be lying if we didn't wish for it to have a higher resolution display and an ultra-wide shooter.

We are just nitpicking though.

At its SRP of 7,490 for the 4GB/64GB, this looks alright or the price. If you want more storage, it also has a 4GB/128GB version.

But recently, realme placed its 4GB/64GB version at a discounted rate of just PHP 5,990. That's a steal.

So far, this could be the device for clumsy users on a tight budget that wants to enjoy a decent overall smartphone experience with respectable cameras.

Of course, this is just our first take. We will be playing around with the phone for a week or two before seeing you guys in our full review.

Stay tuned!
