The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G features an interesting design at the back with different tones and what seems to be a textured finish in Prism Dot Black and Prism Dot Grey. It also has a square camera bump and a small notch upfront. It features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1600 x 720 HD+ resolutions and 226 ppi pixel density.

Inside, it has an 8nm 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G octa-core processor, Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a quad-camera setup with 48MP f/1.8 main sensor + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle sensor + 8MP macro sensor + 5MP depth sensor with LED flash. For selfies. a 20MP f/2.2 sensor is present.

Other features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, NFC, and USB-C. It also has an In-Display fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is hitting the shelves in India on May 1.
