OPPO Reno5 A with 6.5-inch 1080p 90Hz screen and SD765G 5G chip now official

For the Japanese market, OPPO has just introduced the newest member of the Reno5 family called the Reno5 A.

Based on specs, it is the slightly toned-down version of the PHP 23,999 OPPO Reno5 5G found in the Philippine market.

With 18W USB-C charging

In particular, it is using an LCD panel instead of AMOLED, the RAM is down to 6GB from 8GB, the battery is smaller at 4,000mAh vs 4,300mAh, the charging time is slower at 18W compared to 65W, the selfie camera was replaced with a 16MP shooter from 32MP, and it is using a traditional rear fingerprint reader, not an In-Display fingerprint scanner.

Decent mid-range internals

But the rest of the specs are mid-range-grade. It is using a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD (LTPS) panel, 2.4GHz 7nm EUV Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor, 128GB expandable storage, and Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11.1 skin.
