Rurouni Kenshin: The Final is coming to Netflix Philippines!

Netflix Philippines just teased on a promotional YouTube video that "Rurouni Kenshin: The Final" movie is coming to the streaming service on June 18.

This is the fourth film in the highly acclaimed live-action of the anime "Rurouni Kenshin" also known as "Samurai X".

This is based on the manga series by Nobuhiro Watsuki with a story that will differ from the original. It focuses on the wanderer Himura Kenshin who is brought on a fight involving revenge by Yukishiro Enishi. Japanese actor Takeru Satoh will reprise his role as the iconic Himura Kenshin.

This movie will be followed by "Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning", the fifth and final installment of the live-action movie franchise.

To recap, the first "Rurouni Kenshin" live-action movie was released in 2012 followed by the "Kyoto Inferno" and "Legend Ends" two years later.

Apart from the movie, Netflix will also bring the "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie Part 1/Part 2, Maledicto, Cara x Jagger, Sweet Tooth, Feel Good: Season 2, Sweet & Sour, Lupin: Part 2, Trese, Hospital Playlist: Season 2, and more on the platform this June.
