Redmi Note 8 2021 to go official "soon"
To celebrate its 25 million units sold globally milestone, Xiaomi earlier teased on Twitter that the company will soon launch a handset called Redmi Note 8 2021.

To recall, the Redmi Note 8 was first launched in 2019 and it is one of the best-selling Android phones worldwide during that time.

It features a 6.3-inch FHD+ notch screen, SD665 SoC, up to 4GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, 4,000mAh battery, 48MP quad-cam, 13MP selfie cam, fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, Smart PA amp, and P2i water splash resistance.

Xiaomi hasn't shared what to expect about the device yet, but there's a leak claiming that it will be powered by the more powerful 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It is said to have a 22.5W fast charging support, 48MP quad-camera setup, and MIUI 12.5 Android skin.
Based on the teaser, it will likely retain its front design with a notch display.
