Altos BrainSphere R685 F5 powered by NVIDIA RTX A6000 launches

Altos Computing today announced the arrival of its new server, the BrainSphere R685 F5. It is powered by AMD and NVIDIA to deliver high performance.

It has 2x AMD EPYC 7763 CPUs + 4x NVIDIA RTX A6000

The Altos BrainSphere R685 F5 server is featuring two AMD EPYC 7763 CPUs, 2 x NVIDIA ConnectX-6 network adapters, and 4 x NVIDIA RTX A6000 GPUs based on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture with 48GB of VRAM. This server configuration has been validated to be one of the best for performance, manageability, scalability, and security.

Altos aiWorks is an AI deep-learning computing system that includes a computing resources management tool called the Altos Accelerator Resource Manager or AARM. This reduces the high complexity learning threshold faced by AI/DL developers. The BrainSphere R685 F5 server complies with NVIDIA's design best practices and passed its certification tests.

As part of the NVIDIA EGX platform, the Altos BrainSphere R685 F5 server enables enterprises to meet various demanding workloads, including AI and supporting remote collaboration and accelerated graphics in NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise.
