The Edge 20 series details leaked!

The leak came from a Twitter post of Evan Blass. His post showed names on the table on what seems to be codenames of the devices and only "Kyoto" has been confirmed as the Edge 20 Lite. He also mentioned the possibility of PStar as another name for the reported Sierra.

The codename "Berlin NA" uses a punch-hole design for the front-facing cam. It has a 6.78-inch display with 2460 x 1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It will be powered by a 2.1GHz 6nm Snapdragon 778 processor and is then paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and a storage of either 128GB or 256GB depending on the model.

For the battery, it will be 5,000mAh although the charging tech used is not mentioned.

Moving onto the cameras it will be a whopping 108MP for the rear sensor, 8MP for ultra-wide which is also capable of taking macro shots, and another 2MP for the depth sensor while the selfie cam is 32MP. The Berlin NA, as the name implies, will be accessible in the North American market and will be sold by Verizon.

The global version of the device or also known as "Berlin" will have a slightly small display of 6.67-inch with 2400 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The processor and memory configurations are the same as that of Berlin NA but the difference will be the main camera setup and the battery with a lower 4,000mAh.

This time the camera's main sensor is 108MP paired with 16MP ultra-wide sensor and 8MP 3x telephoto lens. For the selfie camera, it will be the same 32MP.

The device with a codenamed "Kyoto" or also known as the Edge 20 Lite, will have lower specifications. It will have a centered punch-hole design, although the size of the screen isn't mentioned it will have a 2400 x 1080 resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

At the helm, it is powered by a 2.0GHz 7nm MediaTek 720 processor which is then paired with an option of 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The cameras and battery are similar to the Berlin NA.

Moving to Codename "Pstar", it appears to be the most powerful among the Edge 20 series. Most of its specification is taken from the vanilla "Berlin" but this time the processor is much stronger which is the 2.4GHz 7nm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The internal storage will be either 128GB or 256GB.

The battery is also bigger with a massive 6,200mAh. The camera is similar to Berlin but with an added telephoto lens of 5x lossless zoom.

It's worth noting that only the PStar has an under-display fingerprint reader included in its specifications, which could indicate that it's the only one of the lot with an OLED panel, with the others opting for LCDs. The Pstar is going to be available in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and India.

Although there's no word yet for the price of the devices and their availability in the Philippines.

What do you guys think?
