Huawei plans to invest USD 150 million in digital talent development over the next five years through its Seed of the Future Program 2.0. Over 3 million people will benefit from this initiative. This was announced during the company's "Tech and Sustainability: Everyone's Included" forum.

With the Seed of the Future Program 2.0, around 3 million people will benefit from digital talents development. This campaign began back in 2008 when Huawei began to roll out talent development programs, through scholarships, technology competitions, and digital skills training and has invested more than USD 150 million in these programs. Huawei has since benefited more than 1.54 million people from over 150 countries.

Aside from the Seed of the Future Program 2.0, the forum also discussed the importance of technology's role to drive sustainability and building an eco-friendly world. The forum included representatives from Huawei, IUCN, the World Economic Forum, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI), and Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA).

For example, Singapore's Sunseap Group was supported by Huawei FusionSolar Solution. Together, they were able to build the world's largest offshore floating Photovoltaic farms. It has over 13,312 solar panels, 40 inverters, and more than 30,000 floats. It can produce up to 6,022,500 kWh of energy per year.
