Stylish, rugged, and secured 5G-ready handset from Nokia

Nokia claims that it is a handset designed for the long run due to its MIL-STD-810H military standard sleek casing that can withstand drops from 1.8 meters. It also has IP68 water and dust resistance and Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus for screen protection.

For specs, it is mid-range worthy. It uses a 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole IPS screen with 550 nits brightness that works even if your fingers are wet or with gloves on.

Under the hood, it comes with the 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage via microSD card slot, and a reasonably large 4,640mAh battery with USB-C 18W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

For cameras, it goes with a ZEISS 48MP f/1.8 main shooter and a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2x LED flash found in the unique-looking square camera hump with an X-like design.

In front, there's an 8MP f/2.0 fixed-focused sensor found on the top-center punch-hole.

The handset also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a custom button for either voice assistant or opening apps, and stereo speakers with up to 96dB and OZO playback technology for improved audio detail.

Of course, it has 5G since SD480 has a built-in Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF system with support for mmWave and sub-6GHz global 5G.

For software, it runs with Android 11 OS that promises monthly security updates up to 4 years that can keep your phone secure into 2025. Moreover, it has up to 3 major Android updates. That's better than a lot of flagship phones today.
