In a statement to American technology news website The Verge, a spokesperson said that the proposed October 1 changes to OnlyFans are no longer required. This sudden U-turn is due to banking partners' assurances that the platform can support all genres of creators.

OnlyFans won't ban sexually explicit content apparently
To recap, OnlyFans previously said that no more sexually explicit content will be allowed on the platform starting October.
Basically, this means that the company will not ban porn on its platform.
This comes just a day after its CEO said in a Financial Times CEO that the reason or the and was actually issues with its banking partners. It is not Mastercard as some assumed.
In a Tweet, OnlyFans said that "Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard" and official communication to creators will be emailed shortly.
OnlyFans started as a forum for artists, fitness instructors, and chefs. The platform grew in popularity when the pandemic hit and it grew into a popular portal for adult industry works to change fans for sexually explicit content.
