The vivo X60 was able to bring a complete package to the table. It has a gorgeous design, immersive display, powerful performance even in gaming, speedy 5G connectivity, and improved user experience overall. But, one of the main draws it has is the Zeiss camera setup it has.

As a recap, the vivo X60 has a triple-camera setup with 8MP f/1.79 Sony IMX598 sensor w/ PDAF and 5-axis OIS + 13MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle w/ 2.5cm macro + 13MP f/2.46 2x optical zoom + LED flash. It also has a 32MP f/2.45 selfie camera. It was also able to use the Vario-Tessar NT anti-reflective coating to avoid ghosting and flares.

With its redesigned camera interface, shooting crisp and high-quality images in normal 1X mode, ultra-wide, and 2X zoom is a breeze. It uses AI to optimize each shot according to what you are shooting. It can determine if you are shooting in daylight, a macro shot, a food shot, or even your pets.

In our review, it is a great companion for product photography as long as you have good lighting. vivo is also proud of X60's Portrait Mode with ZEISS Biotar bokeh that gives the background blur a swirling look. This mode also works in low light and night scenarios. It also has a lot of different Portrait mode styles to choose from as well.

The Night Mode is pretty powerful as well. AI also assists here and can produce amazing shots without the need for the included Pro Mode. It even has Tripod Mode for shots that require longer exposures and slower shutter speeds. It also has different built-in filters for Night Mode like Cyberpunk, Blue Eyes, Black and Gold, and Skin Orange among others.

It also has a Long Exposure Mode with effects like Flow of Traffic, Night Graffiti, Waterfalls, and more.

For selfies, this phone can produce great shots in different lighting situations with a dedicated Night Mode selfie. For videos, it can shoot up to 4K 60FPS with OIS. It even has a smoother Ultra Stable mode. It can also shoot 240FPS slow-motion videos. For selfie videos, it can shoot up to 1080p 30FPS.

Our thoughts? Despite being a first-gen device, the PHP 34,999 vivo X60 impressed us. For photos, it does very well in different lighting conditions with interesting features and modes.

The vivo X60 is a great pick for those looking for a premium device that has a lower price tag compared to other flagship devices.
