realme C85 5G now official in PH: Triple IP rating, 7,000mAh battery, Dimensity 6300, PHP 10,989 promo price

After the teasers, the realme C85 officially launches today in the Philippines.

The 1st C-series with MASSIVE 7,000mAh battery

To recap, it is a device targeted for budget consumers who are looking for durability features, a capable chip, and a big battery.

The realme C85 boasts MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance to ensure survivability against unwanted drops or falls.

Its toughness is reinforced with a multi-layer structure that cushions shocks when you accidentally drop your phone. 

Furthermore, the realme added triple rating, such as IP66/68/69K dust and water resistance. This should give consumers some breath of relief when using the phone underwater for 30 minutes up to 1.5 meters, plus it is able to withstand high-pressure water jets for solid protection.

The display

In front, the device comes with a 6.8-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1570 x 720 resolution,  144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness.

Inside, the phone packs a 2.4GHz 6nm Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

Among its spotlight features is the 7,000mAh battery, making it the first C-Series to have guaranteed 2-day battery life. It is also paired with a 45W USB-C SUPERVOOC adaptor for quick top-ups.

The realme C85 camera

For cameras, the phone packs a 50MP Sony IMX852 PDAF main sensor paired with a depth sensor. At the front, it uses an 8MP sensor

It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a single speaker, but is capable of reaching up to 400 percent volume for an immersive experience.

Connectivity features are WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.

For OS, it runs on realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.
