Last April, EA announced the Battlefield franchise coming to mobile in 2022, but this time, the pre-registration has been spotted in the PlayStore.
To recap, Battlefield franchise is a Triple-A title from PCs and Console which features first-person shooter video games that has war-like theme multiplayer battles.
The appearance of the pre-registration would mean that EA plans to begin the series of smaller playtests in countries such as the Philippines and Indonesia.
The company mentioned that as they continue with the testing, they will be slowly expanding to other regions as well. Once the game maker is ready, they will launch a page that allows everyone to pre-register for the game and sign up for the latest updates.
Only one map, known as Grand Bazaar, and the franchise's trademark Conquest game mode will be available in the initial beta test. EA vowed to reveal additional information regarding other maps and modes as the release date approaches in 2022.
Meanwhile, the publisher has stated that the game would be a free-to-play title with “only” cosmetic items. Optional seasonal battle passes will help you earn some of them. This one is "being designed specifically for mobile," it will not enable cross-play with any console or PC versions of the Battlefield franchise.
So if you're lucky to be in these countries you can pre-register at this link.
