HONOR Play5 Vitality Edition announced with Dimensity 900U and 120Hz screen

HONOR announced Play5 Vitality Edition—a new mid-range challenger sporting the Dimensity 900U SoC, 120Hz screen, and Virtual RAM technology.

The new smartphone uses a dual punch-hole display on the front with slim bezels on each side, while flipping it back, you'll see the glossy curved edge on the side, three cameras at the upper center, and the logo of the brand below.

It is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 94.4 percent screen-to-body ratio.

It will be also be using the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM, either 128GB or 256GB memory space. In case you find the RAM not enough, it can also be extended by up to 2GB with the latest virtual RAM technology for a total of 10GB RAM.

The new Play5 Vitality Edition is also equipped with a 4,300mAh battery and can be charged with 65W superfast charging. The company claims the phone can reach 50 percent in just 15 minutes, while a full bar will only need 40 minutes.

It uses a triple camera setup where its main sensor is 64MP, 8MP for ultra-wide, and 2MP for depth shooter. While the front-facing camera uses 16 megapixels.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack. For connectivity, it has 5G, Dual 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C. As for the operating system, it runs with Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 on top.
