LG Water Purifiers and Charcoal Microwave Ovens unveiled in India

Ahead of the holiday season, South Korean giant  LG introduced new water purifiers and charcoal microwave ovens in India.

Tailored for the Indian consumer appliances market

LG Electronics has launched a set of items in the health and hygiene sector namely, LG Purifiers and Charcoal Microwave Ovens. Allegedly, both product range aims to highlight the goal of the company to help its consumers to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Also, these new LG water purifiers and charcoal microwave ovens are certified by the Heart Care Foundation of India. The water purifiers are claimed to produce health-friendly drinkable water. With its new RO recovery plus filter, it is said to recover more than 60 percent water.

Meanwhile, the 2-in-1 feature reportedly makes sure to make the water clean and pure enough for drinking and washing fruits or vegetables. 

The water purifiers from LG also sports a stainless-steel storage tank with an air-tight enclosure for maintaining the freshness of the water than the traditional ones. It also has a  digital sterilizing care functionality for better handling of the purification process.

On the other hand, the company released Charcoal Microwave Ovens that are customized to meet the needs of its Indian consumers. Allegedly, this new appliance boasts of some India-centric functionality. 

The microwave oven has several features such as Charcoal Lighting Heater mode, Diet Fry, and the Indian Roti Basket, among others.  In terms of capacity, the Charcoal Microwave Oven ranges from 28L to 32L. 

Moreover, LG has  30 Healthy Heart Recipes available for preparation using the Charcoal Microwave oven. These recipes have been certified by the Heart Care Foundation of India as Heart-friendly.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

The new LG water purifiers are priced between INR 28,290 (or around PHP 1.92K) and NR 35,490 (or around PHP 24.1K). Meanwhile, the Charcoal microwave oven starts at INR 22,490 (or around PHP 15.3K).

LG said that their online and offline availability will be provided soon. However, there's no news yet if the company will release them in other countries outside India.
