First up, the Filogic 830 has a wide range of features packed into a compact, ultra-low power 12nm SoC. This allows customers to design different solutions for routers, access points, and mesh systems.

The SoC uses 4x Arm Cortex-A53 CPUs that can go up to 2GHz per core for up to over 18,000 DMIPs processing power, dual 4x4 Wi-Fi 6/6E for up to 6Gbps connectivity, two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and a host of peripheral interfaces. It also has built-in hardware acceleration engines for WiFi offloading. It also supports MediaTek FastPath technology for low latency applications such as gaming as well as AR and VR.

The Filogic 630, on the other hand, is a WiFi 6/6E NIC solution that supports dual-band, dual-concurrent 2x2 2.4GHz and 3x3 5GHz/6GHz connectivity for speeds up to 3Gbps. The chipset also supports a unique 3T3R 5/6GHz system with internal front-end modules which provide equivalent or better range than competing 2T2R solutions with external FEMs. This design allows for lower costs and a sleeker form factor with its small RF frontend area. It also has a third antenna dedicated for superior transmit beamforming capability.

Filogic 630 also supports interfaces such as PCIe, which allows it to be combined with Filogic 830 for tri-band connectivity solutions for broadband gateways, enterprise access points, and retail routers with even higher speeds and bandwidth capacity.
