Rebranding last year's model?

In India, Xiaomi's subbrand Redmi has just launched the Redmi Note 10 Lite. It is last year's Redmi Note 9 Pro but with a new name and a new set of colorways. 

To recap, the Redmi Note 9 Pro or the 'new' Redmi Note 10 Lite features a large 6.67-inch LCD DotDisplay with 2400 x 1080 resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Inside is the 8nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, Adreno 618 GPU, 4GB/6GB LPPDDR4X RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 storage, and 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging thru USB-C.

At the back is a 48MP main camera with a Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor and EIS, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide camera, 5MP 2cm macro camera, 2MP depth sensor, and LED flash. While in front is the punch hole that houses the 16MP selfie camera.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-microphones, FM radio, and a P2i splash-proof coating.

The body measures 165.7 x 76.6 x 8.8mm and weighs 209 grams.

It now comes with Aurora Blue, Champagne Gold, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black colorways.

The new smartphone will be available in India thru mi.com on October 2, 2021. There is no word yet on International or Philippine availability and pricing.
