Enjoy Apple Music with these TWS buds

Apple Music is known to offer millions of songs from various artists, hundreds of curated playlists, podcasts, and more. It also features Lossless audio and Spatial audio with Dolby Atmos. All of these are available for your enjoyment ad-free as well! And even if you're not an iOS user, you can still avail Smart's FREE 6 months Apple Music Subscription by downloading the Apple Music app on Google Play.

And what better way to enjoy Apple Music than by pairing it with suitable TWS buds? Since the rise in popularity of TWS earbuds (True Wireless Stereo), there have been plenty of good options on the market, some of which even claim to have the most advanced audio technology around today. But, not all of them have codecs with wireless lossless audio support.

To make it easier for you, we've narrowed down 3 options.

Here are 3 TWS buds you can use to enjoy Smart's FREE 6 months of Apple Music with lossless audio support:

Sony WF-1000XM4

1. Sony WF-1000XM4 - Priced at PHP 13,999, the WF-1000XM4 features IPX4 of water resistance, Noise Isolation Earbud Tips which insulates sound, reduces noise, and provides a better overall fit, and Active Noise Cancellation or ANC.

It is powered by 6mm High-power neodymium-magnet drivers and features the new Integrated Processor V1 which allows for enhanced sound quality with less distortion that enables LDAC (up to 990 kbps) codec processing and DSEE Extreme. LDAC is compatible with a lot of Android phones.

It also has Bluetooth 5.2 with support for Fast Pair or Microsoft Swift Pair, 8 hours of continuous playtime, and has a 320mAh case w/ USB-C or Qi wireless charging. It is also available in Silver and Black colors.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro

2. Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro - With a price of PHP 9,900, the Galaxy Buds Pro boasts IPX7 water and dust resistance rating, Active Noise Cancellation (which claims to block up to 99 percent of outside noise but also turns the feature off as soon as the user speaks), Immersive Sound, Noise Free Call, and Spatial Audio.

It also uses a larger 11mm Woofer designed for deeper bass response and a 6.5mm Tweeter for a crisp treble with minimum distortion. It has Bluetooth 5.0 (Scalable, AAC, SBC), 5 hours of continuous playtime with ANC on (8 hours if ANC off), and 472mAh charging case w/ USB-C or wireless charging. It is available in Phantom Silver, Phantom Violet, and Phantom Black colors.

Scalable audio is not truly lossless (dynamic bitrate of 88 kbps to 512 kbps), but it is better than the usual AAC and SBC of most modern TWS buds today.
Oppo Enco X

3. OPPO Enco X - For PHP 6,999, the Enco X features an in-ear design with IP54 dust and water resistance, and Coaxial Dual-Driver Design with an 11mm dynamic driver + 6mm balanced membrane driver on each bud.

It supports LHDC, AAC, and SBC audio codecs. Like LDAC, LDHC supports up to 900 kbps audio bitrate. This works on most mid-range to high-end modern OPPO smartphones, several premium Xiaomi devices, and Huawei P30 Pro.

It has 4 levels of noise cancellation with Max Noise Cancellation, Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Noise Cancellation Off. It connects via Bluetooth 5.2 with Binaural Low-Latency Bluetooth when used with OPPO smartphones.

With a 44mAh battery on each bud and a 535mAh case via USB-C or wireless charging, OPPO claims this will give you 25 hours of playback time depending on your ANC usage. It is available in White and Black colors.

Note: Anker also has a unit called Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro with LDAC support. But, it is not yet available in the Philippines.
