iOS users gained access to Netflix's initial library of mobile games

To recall, our previous report stated that Netflix is finally releasing an update to its Android app, allowing mobile users to play games on the platform.

The company is testing the waters as it released five mobile games: Stranger Things: 1984 (BonusXP), Stranger Things 3: The Game (BonusXP), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop).

This time, Netflix is reportedly launching the said feature on iPhone and iPad worldwide. Users can now download the games from the App Store.

Netflix Geeked posted on its Twitter account that Netflix Games is coming to iOS. It also mentions in its caption that users can access it via the app on any mobile device and anywhere in the world.

According to a source, Netflix subscribers will see a dedicated row in both iOS and iPadOS apps and they can pick a game to download. Allegedly, iPad users can search the games through the category dropdown menu also.

It was also mentioned in a report that the games are already available on the App Store. This is to fully comply with Apple's rules on game catalog apps. However, the games will be listed on the Netflix app by the following day.

The initial lineup is the same as on Android. Aside from two Stranger Things titles, there are other three casual games. But there's a report revealing that another title is coming to the library soon.

Allegedly, Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story will arrive on Nintendo Switch and PC later this month. It is also the first game announced for Netflix after the broader rollout of games on Android.
