Alleged render of HONOR Magic Fold 5G spotted online, to launch in Q1 2022?

An alleged render of the yet to be announced foldable from HONOR has been spotted online.

HONOR recently launched the HONOR 60 Pro in China. The HONOR 60 Pro is one of the slew of phones that the company has launched after it split from Huawei.

Back in June 2021, GizmoChina reported that Dealintech spotted trademark filings for an 'HONOR Magic Flip' and an 'HONOR Magic Fold'.

There are no official information of the yet to be announced foldable from HONOR but rumors have claimed that the HONOR Magic Fold will come with a massive 8-inch folding display with a 2200 x 2480 resolution. Inside will allegedly be an octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage and a 4500mAh battery with fast charging technology. It will allegedly come with a 108MP main camera and a 16MP selfie camera. It will allegedly run on Android 12.

Recently, Twitter user Rodent950 posted an alleged render of the HONOR Magic Fold 5G with the unfolded device that shows the rear and the cover display. The rear features the HONOR branding, the large multi-camera array with LED flash while on the side is the power button and volume buttons.

While on the cover screen side is a tall screen with curved corners and a curved glass panel on top. There is no sign of a punch-hole camera.

The render depicts a very different design from the Huawei Mate X foldable.

As HONOR has yet to make an official announcement, take this information with a grain of salt.
