However, for an "Ultra-Premium" device, it is just the 13th highest-ranking smartphone in the world.
DxOMark: Tied with vivo X70 Pro and OPPO Find X3 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G (Exynos) camera score is 131 points
According to the camera benchmark lab, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra can shoot images with accurate exposure and vivid colors in all lighting conditions, has flagship-grade zoom, and reliable video performance with fast and effective stabilization.
But, it struggled in capturing the instant in difficult conditions. The result of its photos default mode and low light shooting falls short versus other devices in the same category as well.
With a DXOMARK Camera score of 131, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (Exynos) does not quite make it into the top flight in our smartphone camera ranking but performs overall well and delivers some improvements over its predecessor, the S21 Ultra, for example in video and zoom. But it cannot quite keep up with the best in class in areas such as texture/noise or night photography.
Samsung achieved this feat by using a 108MP f/1.8 Wide camera, 12MP f/2.2 Ultra-Wide camera, 10MP f/2.4 Tele camera, and a 10MP f/4.9 Long Tele camera.
The Snapdragon version of the S22 Ultra will likely have a slightly different score. The selfie camera rating of the device has yet to be revealed.
