With the current upwards trend of gaming in the Philippines, Samsung teamed up with Moontoon Games to boost the local scene for the year 2022!

Samsung Philippines X Moontoon Games partnership is now official!

According to the Global Web Index, mobile gaming apps had the largest growth usage in the Philippines during the peak of the pandemic. Furthermore, 98 percent of Filipinos aged 16 to 64 own a smartphone, with 72 percent of these users engaging in mobile gaming. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang grabbed the top rank among these gaming apps in terms of active users.

Samsung Philippines has teamed with MOONTON Games to improve the former's presence in the gaming sector. Samsung wants to further strengthen the role of its products among gamers and streamers in the country. With the Galaxy A Series, Samsung has already begun to court the gaming community, touting it as a competitive mobile gaming phone.

This year, Samsung Philippines is sponsoring the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League, which will begin on February 18, 2022, in the Philippines. Bren Esports, ECHO, Smart Omega, Nexplay EVOS, TNC Pro, RSG Philippines, ONIC PH, and the defending champion Blacklist International will all compete in the next season.
