Apple MagSafe Battery Pack can now charge faster

Apple rolled out a new 2.7 software update for its MagSafe Battery Pack. This will allow you to charge your iPhone faster at 7.5W than 5W previously. You can get the update by attaching your MagSafe Battery Pack to your iPhone which will take a week to complete the update. Yes, a week.

The faster and more efficient way to update is by using a Mac or iPad. Plug the Lightning to USB cable into the MagSafe Battery Pack then connect it to your preferred device. This method will only take 5 minutes.

This faster charging will be compatible with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series. The 5W limit was a big gripe to users who bought the MagSafe Battery Pack. Users deemed it to be too slow to be useful. This accessory is designed to be an alternative to keep your iPhones topped up when traveling or while on the move.

What do you guys think?
