On schedule, HMD Global today launched the Nokia G21 in the Philippines.
Nokia G21 is an affordable device boasting a Nordic-inspired back design with a polycarbonate construction that has been tested for drop and tumble to ensure its durability.
For the display, it uses a large 6.5-inch LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution at 270 pixels per inch and a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. Nokia said that this also has the Widevine L1 certification for HD Netflix streaming.
For the rest of the specs, the device uses a 1.6GHz 12nm UNISOC T606 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB expandable storage up to 512GB via microSD card, 5,050mAh battery with USB-C 18W fast charging tech.
For cameras, the handset is using a 50MP main shooter, 2MP depth camera, and an LED flash. For selfies, it uses an 8MP snapper.
The device runs with Android 11 and is upgradeable up to Android 13 and will receive three years of security patches. It also can unlock using the face unlock even if you are wearing a mask.

Nokia is also highlighting that the Nokia C21 is now available in stores for PHP 5,490 as well.
