vivo V1+ is the newest image chip of the company that supports even the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship chip!

Unlike the first V1 chip, the new V1+ now supports the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 platform aside from Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

To make this possible, vivo collaborated with MediaTek last year and spent over 300 employees on the development to work on both software and hardware. This resulted in more than 30 patents have been created.

vivo also said that it has been improving in terms of compatibility features as well as picture optimization.

It also has a fine-tuning noise reduction algorithm with a data throughput speed of about 8GB/s and 32GB SRAM energy efficiency to allow the chip to capture night scenes in less than 1 lux of brightness.

Moreover, it has improvements in color, portrait, and shooting assistance. There is a "new, vivid, and textured" vivo memory color scheme as well as "smart white plus black minus" and "smart automatic white balance" AI technology to boost image brightness and white balance accuracy by 16 and 12 percent, respectively.

There is also a new XDR Photo high dynamic range display tech that can further boost the brightness of the photo's prominent portions by up to 350 percent to make images appear brighter and more transparent to let users see more details.

ZEISS Natural Color is also boasting an 8.3 percent improvement in color accuracy and there is a fine tone adjustment found in the new version.

vivo will also examine the combination of the 50mm portrait lens and the micro gimbal to improve the virtual performance of the ZEISS Biotar, Distagon, Planar, and Sonnar. This will be observed in the upcoming X80 smartphones.

There is also a "textured portrait group photo" feature that can recognize the interconnections between individual people in complex scenes and enhance up to 30 people's portraits using AI.

There is a "horizon photo" setting for shooting building as well which makes up for the "horizontal, vertical, and professional composition" shots with real-time pose detection and anti-vibration correction.

Aside from images, the V1+ can also improve gaming as it can enable more games to run at 90fps or 120fps.

vivo also said that it has algorithms to optimize the CPU resource allocation, reduce heat generation, and boost overall efficiency on the Dimensity 9000. With these, it can improve the battery life by 10 percent.

The chip also has an anti-agency fluency experience of up to 36 months. At AnTuTu Lab, it scored over 1.07 million running points.
