Google Pixel 6a with Tensor Chip and 12MP dual rear cam launched!

Google has just announced the new Google Pixel 6a with the Tensor chip, FHD+ display and 12MP dual rear camera!

Arrives in three colorways

Pixel 6 series just got more affordable!

At Google I/O 2022, the tech giant just launched the latest member of the Pixel 6 series. The new Pixel 6A has a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED HDR display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. 

Inside the new mid-ranger is the Google Tensor Chip with Mali-G78 MP20 GPU, Titan M2 security chip, 6GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and 4,400mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging via USB-C.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual SIM support(nano + eSIM), IP67 water and dust resistance rating, stereo speakers and two microphones.

At the back of the phone are a 12.2MP f/1.7 IMX363 sensor primary camera and a 12MP f/2.0 107-degree ultra-wide IMX386 camera with an LED flash. While in front is an 8MP f/2.0 84-degree ultra-wide  iMX355 camera.

It connects wirelessly thru 5G SA/NA, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 LE. It supports GPS and NFC.

Lastly, the phone will come in either Charcoal, Chalk or Sage colorways.

The smartphone will be available for pre-order on July 21, 2022, and will arrive in stores by July 28, 2022, in the United States.

It will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and India soon.

There is no word on Philippine pricing and availability.
