Infinix launched a new smartphone in Kenya called the Note 12i which will join its line of affordable devices.

A new smartphone from Infinix!

The brand is famous for making a handset with an appealing design despite the budget price tag, which applies to the Note 12i with its stylish glitter-like rear cover.

On the front, you will see that it is using a dewdrop display. It has a 6.82-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ 1640 x 720 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

At the helm, it is using 12nm 2.0GHz Helio G85 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB RAM which can also be extended further by 3GB virtually and has 128GB expandable storage.

It also comes with a big 5,000mAh battery and can be charged with an 18W fast charger.

The camera side uses 50MP for the main sensor, followed by a 2MP aux camera and another unspecified QVGA sensor. As for selfies, it is equipped with 8MP.

Other features included are dual stereo speakers with DTS audio support, it will also arrive with a freebie of a protective case and earphones.

Connectivity features have 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack slot, and USB-C.

The software runs Android 12 with XOS 10.6 skin on top.

The device is available in Sunset Golden, Jewel Blue, and Force Black colorways and can be bought in Kenya as well as in Nigeria but pricier at NGN 100,700 (around PHP 12.6K). No word yet if it will arrive in the Philippines so stay tuned.
