In China, HONOR launched the new HONOR 70 with an FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, and 66W SuperCharge fast charging.

HONOR 70 arrives!

HONOR 70 is the vanilla model from the newly announced HONOR 70 series which includes the HONOR 70 Pro and HONOR 70 Pro+.

It features a 120Hz 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED curved display with 1,000 nits peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 10-bit 10.7 billion colors support.

Inside is the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus octa-core processor, Adreno 642L GPU,  8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB of storage, and a 4,800mAh battery with USB-C 66W SuperCharge fast charging.

At the back of the phone is a 54MP f/1.9 1/1.49-inch IMX800 sensor primary camera, 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with macro mode, 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor while in front is a 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

Other features include an In-Display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and dual SIM support.

The phone will come in Bright Black, Streamer Crystal, Mo Yuqing, and Island Fantasy colorways. It measures 161.4 x 73.3 x 7.91 and weighs 178 grams.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

HONOR 70 12GB/256GB - CNY 2,999 (around PHP 23.5K)
HONOR 70 12GB/512GB - CNY 3,399 (around PHP 26.8K)

The HONOR 70 is now up for pre-orders and will be available for purchase early this June 2022.

There is no word yet on International or Philippine availability and pricing.
