On schedule, Huawei today launched the MatePad 10.4 in the Philippines. It's the company's newest mid-range tablet powered by HarmonyOS 2.
Design-wise, the device is very similar to the MatePad last year with more software tricks. The HarmonyOS 2.0 of the device is boasting the Multi-screen Collaboration, Multi-Window, and App Multiplier as well as its secure encryption technology with "do not disturb, do not track and do not disclose" features.
This also has the so-called "Super Device" capability, an intelligent cross-device collaboration system that treats any nearby Huawei device as part of the MateBook's core functionality, and vice versa.
For the display, Huawei added multi-layered eye protection with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certifications
Unfortunately, the chip of the device is downgraded from the 7nm Kirin 820 of the similarly priced MatePad last year to just the 14nm Kirin 710A octa-core processor. Due to this chip, the charging speed is also down from 22.5W to just 18W.
