OPPO officially launches the A96 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging in the Philippines!

OPPO Philippines today launched the new OPPO A96  mid-range smartphone. It features a large 6.59-inch LTPS display with a 2412 x1080 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 401 ppi.

Inside the new smartphone is the 6nm 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor, Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 5GB RAM expansion, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging via USB-C.

At the back are the 50MP f/1.8 main camera and 2MP f/2.4 depth camera with an LED flash while in front is the 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Running the show is ColorOS 11.1.

The phone measures 164.4 x 75.7 x 8.4 and weighs 191 grams. It will come in either the Starry Black or Pearl Pink colorways.

The smartphone will be available for purchase on May 5, 2022, from all OPPO brand stores, authorized dealers, and e-commerce platforms like Lazada and Shopee.
