Fujitsu LIFEBOOK E5 series is now official

The  LIFEBOOK E5 series has an all-new, ultra-light magnesium case. The new models are more slimline than the popular predecessor versions, at only 19.9mm thick for the 14-inch version and 20.1mm thick for the 15-inch variant.

The LIFEBOOK E5 series uses the 12th generation Intel Core CPUs with Intel Iris Xe graphics to give a high-level performance. Alternatively, users can go for AMD Ryzen 5000U Series CPUs with AMD Radeon graphics. Both models include up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. While the LIFEBOOK E5 models' weight has lowered by up to 25 percent, the battery capacity has improved according to Fujitsu.

Fujitsu also announced new ultra-light mobile thin client versions aimed at businesses with centralized or cloud-based user scenarios that require optimum local compute capacities, such as financial services, healthcare, home offices, and all XaaS situations. The LIFEBOOK E5412 and E5512 mobile thin client versions have the same new appearance as the rest of the series and utilize the same port replicator.

Fujitsu is also unveiling the newest version of its ultra-mobile and highly secure LIFEBOOK U7x12 Series of laptops, the high-end LIFEBOOK U9312, and its tablet cousin, the LIFEBOOK U9312X, all of which utilize the latest, 12th generation Intel Core processors.

Local pricing is not disclosed but all LIFEBOOK devices are now available via Fujitsu and authorized sellers.
