Xiaomi 12S series with Leica cameras will go official on July 4!
It's finally coming. Xiaomi today confirmed that the company will soon introduce the much-hyped 12S series. This is the brand's first line of phones in partnership with legendary camera maker Leica.

Xiaomi's first Leica-branded phones will go official on July 4!
Based on the teaser, it'll come in different models—the vanilla 12S, 12S Pro, and the 12S Ultra. The white one could be the 12S, the black model could be the 12S Pro, and the one with a green leather-like finish with a gold frame might be the 12S Ultra.

There is no word regarding the specs of the devices yet. But, the company notes that the 12S is a compact flagship, the 12S Pro is the new flagship standard, and the 12S Ultra is designed to provide the "new height of mobile imaging flagship". One of the models even has a gold streak in the camera bump.
To recap, Xiaomi announced its partnership with Leica last May 23, 2022. Xiaomi said that it will combine a "legendary image and innovative technology" together with Leica to bring a "new era of photography" in July.
For specs, the company has yet to reveal them. Stay tuned for our report.
