#ICYMI: ASUS Zenfone 9 compact flagship is now official!

In case you missed it, ASUS has recently launched its newest compact flagship smartphone called the Zenfone 9.

As expected, the device brings plenty of upgrades coming from the Zenfone 8 last year. The device is now sporting a more powerful 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with a new generation Adreno GPU, a slightly larger battery capacity at 4,300mAh, and a powerful 50MP f/1.9 Sony IMX766 main sensor with 2 OCL PDAF, 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer + 12MP f/2.2 Sony IMX363 113-degree ultra-wide-angle w/ Dual PDAF, 4cm macro.

It can record 8K 24fps at the back and 4K 60fps in front.

Since it is a compact flagship, the device is still using the 5.9-inch Gorilla Glass Victus protected Samsung AMOLED screen w/ 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution. This is a powerful display with a Delta-E < 1 color accuracy, 112 percent DCI-P3, and 151.9 percent sRGB color gamut.
