Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro 5G Camera Samples!

We share our experiences and first camera samples with the Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro 5G.

A capable budget shooter?

To recap, the Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro 5G features a large 6.78-inch Gorilla Glass Protected LCD display with a 2460 x 1080 resolution. Inside is the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Alongside 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 with a large 5,000mAh battery.

At the rear is the 48MP primary camera with ISOCELL GM1ST, 5MP GC5035 depth sensor, 2MP BF2253L macro, and 2MP BF2253L depth with dual LED flash. While in front is a 16MP selfie camera.

The stock camera app features modes like Photo, Video, Night Mode, Pro Mode, 108MP, Panorama, Slow Motion, Macro, and Scanner for the rear cameras while the selfie camera only has Photo, Video, and GIF modes.

Rear camera daylight

Rear camera indoors

In both daylight and indoors, the Cherry Mobile Aqua S10 Pro 5G takes some of the best photos we've seen for its price of PHP 7,999. Images are sharp and detailed with vibrant color and deep contrast. Simply stunning for the price.

Rear camera low light

For low light, the increase of noise and grain softens the image. The camera also has difficulty handling lens flaring. However, the color is still vibrant.

Selfie daylight

In daylight, the selfie camera captures images with good sharpness and detail with decent color reporduction. The contrast is deep too. Very good performance in daylight.

Selfie Indoors

Indoors, the phone is able to make up for the loss of light while maintaining sharpness, detail, color accuracy and contrast. Very minimal noise is seen as well.

Selfie low light

In low light, the noise and grain are strong enough to soften the image to an extent. However, it is sharp enough. We also have to commend how it maintains the vibrant color and deep contrast.

Quick thoughts

As you can see, the Cherry Mobile S10 Pro 5G takes some of the best photos we've seen on a phone priced at only PHP 7,999.

Both the rear and selfie cameras take stunning photos in daylight and indoors. The images are sharp and detailed with vibrant color and deep contrast.

Where both cameras struggled was in low light. The rear cameras have difficulty handling flare and the images have increased grain. This results in softer images compared to the daylight and indoor images.

However, at this price point, we can look past these nitpicks. The S10 Pro 5G may be one of the best camera phones for its price out of the box.
