#ICYMI: Kacific's 100 Mbps satellite internet plan is PHP 170K per month!

To those who missed it, Kacific's Kloche Unlimited Broadband Satellite service is now available in the Philippines. Its plans can go up to 100Mbps for PHP 170K a month!

We were able to test it too!

Kacific's Kloche Unlimited Broadband Satellite Internet will be available in the Philippines through Bambunet. Bambunet is the agent and installer of Kloche Communications here in the Philippines. Currently, on their website, there are 7 Unlimited Broadband Satellite Internet plans and 4 capped plans.

Why is it expensive you ask? Well, satellite internet is much more expensive to deploy than traditional mobile and fiber internet. It is for a niche group of users as well where 4G LTE, 5G, and fiber internet are non-existent. The service could also be great as a backup internet to keep business that needs to stay online even when there are fiber cuts or provide connectivity in times of calamities.

This tech is not designed to replace the existing wired and wireless systems.

The PHP 170K per month plan even says it on its name, "Enterprise". This is best for businesses in remote areas such as huge off-the-grid resorts for instance.

To an average Juan, this may seem expensive but knowing what it is for, it is competitively priced.
