According to new reports, Android 12 is currently rolling out on the Galaxy M11 in Vietnam. This is nice to hear as budget phones like this one rarely get major updates.

The firmware version is M115FXXU3CVF6 and as expected the OS is skinned by Samsung's own One UI 4. It even has the June 2022 Android security patch.

To those who missed it, One UI 4 is one of the "better" Android skins around. Samsung claims that this refreshed skin is smoother, looks more modern, and more customizable.

Meanwhile, Android 12 is the current latest OS of Google for mobile devices while Android 13 is still in beta mode. It is said to be better, faster, and more secure than ever.

Galaxy M11 is an online-only 2-year-old Samsung budget phone featuring a 6.4-inch PLS TFT HD+ punch-hole screen, 14nm SD450 chip, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 5,000mAh battery, 13MP + 5MP + 2MP triple cam, fingerprint reader at the back, and 4G LTE.

But likely, this is not the full version of Android 12 as the device only has 3GB of RAM.

There is no word yet if this is a global rollout. But likely, it will arrive even in PH units.

What do you guys think?
