Chinese phone maker ZTE announced the Blade V40 Pro in Mexico which sports a 12nm UNISOC chipset.

ZTE's newest phone unveiled!

The Smartphone appears in a premium-looking glossy rear design, there's also a camera island that houses the three sensors and the LED flash. It will also come in two color options of either Dark Green and Iridiscent White.

Upfront, it has a display of a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.

At the helm, it is equipped with a 12nm 2.0GHz UNISOC Tiger T618 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. The phone is paired with a single memory configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. The RAM can also be expanded virtually by up to 4GB.

Its battery size has a 5,100mAh capacity which can also be charged using a 65W fast charging adaptor.

For the cameras, the handset is using 64MP for the main, 5MP macro shooter, and 2MP depth helper.

Other features known would be the side-mounted fingerprint scanner for the phone's security.

For connectivity, ZTE's website mentioned that it has 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB-C.

For the software, it runs Android 11 with MyOS 11 as its skin.

As of the moment, the device is only available in Mexico. There's also no news yet for other markets or if it will come to the Philippines.
